Apple's App Store Review keeps on being a frustrating shit show!

Apple's App Store Review process is frustrating. My "Make LinkedIn Great Again" extension faces name change demands and in-app purchase requirements, with poor developer support.

Apple's App Store Review keeps on being a frustrating shit show!

I am trying to bring my free "Make LinkedIn Great Again" browser extension to Safari and keep on running against walls. After this experience, it's no surprise for me, why the Safari Browser-Ecosystem is not thriving!

First, I got requested to change the name of the App. Not because it includes "LinkedIn", but because Apple honestly believes that their users are too dumb to realize, that this is not an official LinkedIn product.

Next, they are asking me to replace the "Buy me a coffee" button with In-App Purchases, where Apple would take a 30% share of each donation. WTF?

The most frustrating part: After each rejection, they write: "If you have any questions, we are here to help. Reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know." Guess who keeps ignoring any of my follow-up and clarification questions and just keeps on sending the same standard text blocks? 🤔

Horrible and frustrating Developer Experience!

Phew, was I angry...
Thanks for reading, I feel better now. šŸ˜…
